( The world is strange and the air breathes differently from what he'd grown accustomed to on the Ring; it's odd to inhale fresh air again when you've only had the recycled shit for a couple years. Bellamy wants to stick around, thinks to, but there's a touch of chaos on the air that unsettles him, an urgency in the steps of everyone around him once he's outside of the castle. The Emperor reminds him too much of Kane back on the Ark, unsettles him, and Bellamy can't wait to get out.
When he asks for people, Clarke is the first name on his lips; asking for her by name, followed by Octavia, by others that might have said yes to a wolf that needed their word. It takes a few tries before recognition dawns on someone at Clarke's name. The woman is nice enough to take him to a mirror and instruct him how to use it, even if he's taken aback with disbelief over the possibility of magic mirrors. Half expecting to hit the reflective surface like a fool when he steps forward, Bellamy manages to stumble through it from the shock of it actually working.
Forsvar, she told him. She's the healer there.
Approaching the encampment proves pretty fruitless, ultimately. )
I'm just trying to see if someone I know is here. ( Bellamy feels like he's said it a hundred times now, wondering if maybe the language barrier does exist despite being told the contrary. He's growing frustrated, irritated. ) If you could just... tell Clarke who I am so she can come meet me out here? ( He huffs a breath. ) Please.

does she believe that they will meet again? of course she does but it doesn't quite register with her that it could happen here anytime soon even when she is approached in her encampment by a familiar forsvar resident that someone was urgently looking for her and wanting to see her outside. she doesn't think twice about it or even question who it could be since she assumes it was someone who needed her help. it's not long after she finishes up that she heads outside but the moment she does, the recognition crosses her expression almost immediately when she spots bellamy. she finds herself freezing on the spot as a wave of emotions overwhelms her just from seeing him standing there. it takes her a few moments before she manages to find her words, her voice cracks slightly despite how she tries to keep her emotions in check] Bellamy?
[it's almost like she had seen a ghost from the way she looks at him with slight uncertainty before she decides to just screw it and launches herself at him without any warning whatsoever] You're— I can't believe you actually here. [and alive but given the last time they saw each other, she figures that goes without saying between the two of both of them.]

His face tucks into her shoulder, squeezing his arms tighter around her. He doesn't want to let go, fear rearing its ugly head; if he lets go, maybe she'll disappear, maybe he'll wake up on the ring once again, still haunted by the ghost of who he left behind.
There are a hundred things he wants to say, maybe more than that, and his voice is brittle when he finally speaks. ) I missed you. ( It's been years and all I did was miss you. )
